'Caravaggio: The Final Years'

I went see the Caravaggio exhibiton currently on at the National Gallery in London in the midst of a jam-packed Sunday.

After scrutinising the 16 paintings on show in depth, I can safely say that Caravaggio is a masterful painter with a compositional and technical prowess I have never seen before - he has no equal. My love for his works have just multiplied ten-fold, just as the Raphael exhibiton did for me last January.

I strongly recommend...no, urge you to go see his works and see for yourself how influential and inspirational he was in shaping the visual arts to this day. He has certainly played a significant role in my development as an artist.
